I colored her with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I did a small amount of decoupage; her hat rim and her ice cream cone. The papers I used are from Club Scrap... I LOVE their papers. I really need to start that again! I miss getting my pizza box! I added the corners (Spellbinders) which I cut with black cardstock. The butterflies (Spellbinders) I cut the background with the black cardstock and then I used the other papers for the top. I also added pearls to the middle of each of those butterflies. I added two different ribbons, two of the same, that I tied around the middle strip. I added gems to the bottom half of the scalloped edged papers. I also added inking on the edges of the image and stitching around the image. On the inside I stitched around three sides of the cardstock and added some silver puff paints on the scalloped edge. I also added the small black butterflies with the pearls on them as well. I stamped Birthday Greetings. And I believe that is it. She is just wonderful! I love her! Thank you Kyra for another fantastic freebie!!!

Darker Themed Lucy Loo!
Morning folks, I have a sore hand so this will be short and sweet! I recently had Carpal Tunnel Decompression surgery and trying to get back to normal. I'm sure I'll have more to show you next month!
I am on the Design Team over at PunkyouGirl dark themed challenges and this month The East Wind are our sponsor! I was delighted to create a darker project using Lucy Loo Pearl Necklace with Skull and coloured her with Promarkers. I have used papers from Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells collection and lots of black pearlescent paper for layering. I have used a Tim Holtz Weathered Clock die cut and a floral oval from Spellbinders, a sentiment from Ginger's House complete's the card.
I hope you like this! I'd love to see you have a go at a darker project with some of the images from The East Wind!
See you next time!

Hi, I'm Maureen, I'm a stay at home Mum of 4 little cherubs - or demons, depending on the day of the week! I am addicted to papercrafting - mainly card making although I have dabbled in scrapbooking and ATCs. My aim here is to have a place to show my favourite makes and I've realised recently how many blogs have card challenges.... I think i'll be entering some to keep me going too!

My First Showroom Post
Hello The East Wingers.... Please be gentle with me as this is my first showroom post.
I have been missing in action for a while due to poor health. During this time there have been new images released that I have coloured, however didn't have the time to make anything with them.
I thought I would dedicate this post to one those cards that I never got around to make and show at the time.
This was coloured with my Faber-Castel Colouring Pencils. I wanted to make the hair etc different to the norm. All the backing elements were cut on my Silhouette and the cauldron was glittered with black sparkle medium.
I think this is a really unusal card, but I do like it.....I hope you do too.
Much Love
Lisa xxxx

I have been crafting for about 3 years and I love it. I try and make something everyday, but unfortunately, life sometimes gets in the way lol
I have some health issues which is how I got into crafting. When I am feeling low or poorly, crafting is my happy place.

Bettina showcasing Lucy Loo Pirates release
It's Bettina here today and I am about to show you the newest release image we have on The East Wind today! We've gone all piratey and arrghed our way into August! You are going to love this one as well. I could not wait to get my hands on her myself!!
Here's my makes with her:
and a closeup
I've used some gorgeous papers from FabScraps and Bo Bunny and added diecuts from Marianne design and LaLaLand to make a scenery worthy of a pirate. The twine is in shape of a wave, after all the pirates belong to the sea. I've coloured her with my promarkers and have even more details in my blog.
She can be bought in the store over here
Please pop onto our FB page over here and see our awsome makes with Lucy Loo Pirates!!
