Hi everyone!! And good morning :) Today I get to share in more detail about my card for our first challenge at The East Wind.
The theme for this challenge is Love and I sure hope I get to see a bunch of creations!
There will be two challenges each
month. The first challenge will be a freebie challenge and it will be
posted on the 1st of the month. A freebie will given and you should use
that image along with the theme. Then, on the 15th of the month we will
have a themed challenge. You can win some fantastic East Wind images!! Here is my creation for our first challenge that started on February 15th:
I used Cat In Love from The East Wind.
Aren't they just the cutest! I printed the image twice and popped the
black cat. I used some epoxy stickers that I had in my stash and those
cute little glitter hearts are stickers as well. The papers are all from
my scrap box from previous years. I used Spellbinder dies for the ovals
and the rectangles. And the two things on the inside.. the heart and
the rose are rub-ons from my stash. Who knows how long I have had this
stuff!! It was good to use some of it up! And I LOVE these little snuggle kitties!! LOL They are just adorable!!

Challenge # 1 - Crafting Vicky - Take on Love
Hello folks!!! So for the start of our new challenge over at The East wind Challenge I decided to make something a bit different lol It ended up being my hubby's Valentine's day card! And he just looooove how she's dressed... hi hi hi. So I used the fabulous Lucy Loo - Sexy girl with her own style.
And... well I made her a Zombie... yeah I know... it's weird but it was perfect for what I wanted to do and for the great sentiment from Create with TLC that I was adding with her.
So for this I used paper from DCWV - all dressed up. The die cuts were made with my nesting ovals by quickutz. I used some feathers, bling and skulls from my stash lol
Here's a closer look at this fab image colored with my copics. The great sentiment as mentioned is from Create with TLC
I hope you have liked my little interpretation!!! And you can see more of them on my blog here.
Have a great crafting day everyone!!!
Hugs

CHALLENGE #1 AT THE EAST WIND
The new design Team at the wonderful new TheEastWind Challenge Blog are sooooooooooooo very excited about today! YAY! It's our very first Challenge and the theme is so easy LOVE, don't we all need more of that? And I decided that so many cards would be about valentine's (and why not!) that I would showcase an altogether different kind of love, the love of animals. This image makes me think of my youngest. A, she wears hats just like this one, and B, she is animal crazy. A cat lady in the making! Has anyone spotted the tiny mouse? Take a closer look! RECIPE Image from The East Wind, called Ultimate Animal Lover girl , coloured with Promarkers DP's by Authentique Rub on gold letters to make the sentiment Hearts from stash Black fine liner Kraft card
